I really am trying to get some more photos up in my gallery. It's getting kind of difficult. I don't get out too much and our car is yet AGAIN broken down because some 18 year old twit hit my husband on his way home from work. Nice. Ive recently put up some more photos of my son who I love to photograph. But I really want to try to get some variety, like I used to have.

When our car is fixed....or if we buy a new one...whichever comes first or whichever we decide....I plan on trying to get my brother-in-law out for a shoot. He's one of the people I have photographed whos photo is up in my gallery. But I want some off stage photos of him.

I also need to get out and take some updated photos of my husband. Something he's also been wanting. Hopefully the weather will be nice on one of his days off and I can do that. lol. Needs to be pretty nice since we're bus bound for the time being.

But other than that I need new things to photograph. Im getting stir crazy...photographically speaking that is. I mean, it sucks. For a while I was in a major slump, just didnt have the drive to get out and take photos. Then winter hits and it's cold as hell where I dont want to leave the warmth that a blanket provides, followed by finding out I was pregnant and dealing with morning sickness where I ended up losing weight and had to be put on anti-naesea meds as well. And now, Im getting to a point where I really WANT to get out and do my thing and get some new shots. And I can't. This place is kind of boring in my opinion as far as getting any good shots. Unless Im doing portraits which I havent had anyone who has wanted photos done. Though I thinking that my "Pro-bono" days are over. I'm tired of doing everyones photos for free. It's time I earned SOME money doing what I love. Don't get me wrong I love doing photos for my friends....but I can't do freebies forever.

Though I did have something exciting happen to me. As some of you know I had the privilege of being in contact with a couple of the band members from Blue Oyster Cult. Well, Eric Bloom, who personally used 2 of my photos on his myspace invited me to go to the concert up in Tacoma. Paid for my tickets and had them waiting their for me that night. I decided to take my husband along, who, is the one who bought me my camera. So it was a little thank for to him. Plus my now ex friend bailed on me. She was supposed to be my ride but as the concert date approaced quickly she never got back to me. Nice, huh? SO my hubby, the loving man that he is took a night off of work to take me. And the concert was a BLAST! Though two downers to the evening..... I couldnt take any photos even though I brought my camera because "professional" cameras weren't allowed unless you had some sort of press pass..... and there were some rude people who kept standing RIGHT in front of me, blocking my view. Other than that, IT ROCKED! And I can't wait to go again next year!

Anyhoo, I suppose thats it for now. Im tired. And I need some sleep. Night!
